Ingredients
4 bone-in pork chops, about 1.5 lb total (680 g total)
3 tbsp (45 ml) soy sauce
2 tbsp (30 ml) honey
2 tbsp (30 ml) rice vinegar
1 tbsp (15 ml) sriracha sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tbsp (15 ml) sesame oil
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sriracha, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well to create the marinade.
2. Place the pork chops in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Allow the chops to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, turning once to coat both sides evenly.
3. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove pork chops from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Reserve the marinade.
4. Brush the grill with sesame oil and grill the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) is reached.
5. Meanwhile, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
6. Brush the cooked pork chops with the reduced marinade, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, and serve immediately.
