1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 3–4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and plunge them into ice water to stop cooking. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the drained green beans, toss to coat, and cook for another 2–3 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
