- 8 oz (225 g) macaroni (uncooked) - 3 cans Canned Tuna Fish, approx. 5 oz (142 g) each, drained (total approx. 15 oz / 425 g) - 1 medium Yellow Onion, approx. 6 oz (170 g), finely chopped - 1 1/2 cups (170 g) shredded Cheddar Cheese - 1 cup (120 g) Breadcrumbs
1. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and allow to cool slightly. In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, drained canned tuna, chopped yellow onion, and shredded Cheddar Cheese. 2. Stir in 1/2 cup (60 g) breadcrumbs to help bind the mixture. Form into 8 even patties, pressing firmly; coat the outside of each patty with remaining 1/2 cup (60 g) breadcrumbs. 3. Arrange patties on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18–22 minutes, flipping once halfway, until patties are set and the exterior is browned and crisp. Let rest briefly before serving.
